Silvereye, Zosterops lateralis The 'Silvereye' is a tiny olive green bird with, as the name suggests, a silvery white ring around the eye. They are common along the eastern and southern coast of Australia and it's offshore islands. They can be seen flitting in small groups through the canopy of the coastal rainforest, such as the picnic area at Dubuji at Cape Tribulation.
