Grey Fantail, Rhipidura fuliginosa The Grey Fantail is dark grey with a brownish belly, and a white throat and eyebrow. They are common over much of Australia in a huge range of habitats. They are also very common in the rainforest. They can be seen seasonally along the walks through Mossman Gorge and at higher altitude, such as around Hypipamee Crater and Possum Valley. The population in higher altitude rainforests tend to be quite darker individuals (pictured).
